I was skeptical that being so cheap this wouldn't fit, but when I received the strut it took me less than 5 minutes to install. Amazing.

To be honest I was worried about how to return this cheap $20 part for not fitting properly on my 2004 VW Passat GLX. NOT! A friend held the hood for me while I replaced the strut in less then 2 minutes. Tip - Use a small flathead screw driver to partially pull back the retaining clips a bit on the new part. Remove the old, snap in the new, push in the retaining clips and you are done. I saved about $60 doing it myself. Go for it!
